Welcome to photographybyASHLEY

I hope you all feel as welcome here as you would on a front porch, in Boerne Texas, sippin' on a glass of ice cold sweet tea. Yep that's right, I am a Texas country girl!

This blog will be a place you can come to get to know me as a photographer as well as a person. Updates on my latest sessions as well as a sneak peek into my home.

Please visit often and feel free to send me a note. I would love to hear from you.

SENIOR {T} graduate

It was a pleasure working with this young man. He had such a great attitude about doing Senior portraits, even though I know it wasn't his favorite thing to do ;)

BUT way to go Graduate you hung in there.

SENIOR {T} graduation

I had the pleasure of capturing this SENIOR session this Spring before he graduated his last year from Lake Travis High school.

It was a rainy, foggy day which added some very cool drama to the pics, but by the time we were finished with the session we were both more than a little damp :) but anything for great pics !!!

GOOD LUCK {T}
Oh the places you'll go

IN LOVING MEMORY of JIMMER ... family {R} and senior {M}

FINALLY posting this
SENIOR
 &
FAMILY
(from several months ago)

This is a very special family! My husband coached this young man a couple of years, now a graduate from high school he is headed to BYU to begin his college years.
We incorporated things he enjoys and captured him.

One of the things that makes this family so AMAZING....
We met this family a little over two years ago. They were pregnant with their fifth child, a son, that was diagnosed in utero with Trisomy 18.
There are varying degrees, but their diagnosis was fatal. They knew he would not survive even if he made it to delivery.
Because of their faith and belief that life begins at conception they chose LIFE for their baby.
And waited.
only to lose him on February 15, 2012.
But for those who know them, this did not change who they are, but rather their resolve to put their faith is something stronger than themselves.

It was a testimony to witness such strength. So this post is
... in loving memory of JIMMER
